Pre-school Combination Class
A great exposure to the fundamentals of both ballet and tap dance styles.  This class is ideal for developing coordination, increased motor skills, and musicality in a young child.  Students will learn structure, listening skills, and social interaction while experiencing the love of dance.  This class is appropriate for ages 3-5 years.

Ballet
 A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement.  This class is ideal for the student wanting to learn grace and poise as well as the foundation of all other dance styles.  This class will incorporate stretching, barre work, center exercises and across the floor.

Tap
A form of dance where rhythmic sounds are created by the feet.  From beginner to advanced this class is ideal for developing coordination, increased motor skills, and musicality.  This class will incorporate warm up, center technique, and dance combinations using various styles of upbeat music.

Jazz
An ever changing dance genre always open to new movement ideas and the latest cultural styles.  A wonderful form of dance that stimulates the mind and body alike.  This class will incorporate traditional dance moves with the latest dance styles.  Students will experience increased flexibility while working on turns, leaps and jumps. This style of dance is appropriate for ages 8 and up.

Modern
 A form of contemporary theatrical and concert dance employing a special technique for developing the use of the entire body in movements expressive of abstract ideas.  Students will learn floor work, improvisation, technique work using shapes and levels as well as bound and release.  This class also incorporates creative choreography based on theme ideas and stories. This style of dance is appropriate for ages 8 and up.

Hip Hop
A specific style of jazz dance that focuses on body isolation technique as well as free-style improvisation.  This high energy form of dance has become increasingly popular over the last 30 years with the influence of Hip Hop music.  Students will learn various form of hip hop dance as this dance style is ever changing.  Clean and age appropriate music is used for all class levels.  This style of dance is appropriate for ages 8 and up.

Broadway
Incorporating the style of Broadway through choreography, vocal selections, and acting.  Students will learn stylized dance combinations, vocal techniques, as well as stage presence.  This class ends with a final showcase of all the different musical numbers learned throughout the year. 

Contemporary
Contemporary dance draws on modern dance techniques as well as newer philosophies of movement that depart from classical dance techniques by altogether omitting structured form and movement. Unlike classical ballet, contemporary often utilizes ground work and dancers often perform in bare feet. This class is appropriate for the advanced dancer ages 13 and up.
